Last week of the flavor see the Spartans play four Baseline League games with the about-watched game happening tonight as the Spartans host rival Etiwanda. Many experience that Etiwanda is in Damien's head, much like the 49ers were in the heads of the Rams. If the Rams tin can win last night, so can Damien on Mon nighttime. Run into you lot there!
The week ahead:vs. Etiwanda (Monday.), at Chino Hills (Tues.), at Los Osos (Wed.), at Rancho Cucamonga (Fri.)
2. St. Francis (20-five, Baseline, Div. ane)

At present that the Mission League competition has been completed, all that's left is a couple of non-league games against Castaic and Cleveland. You can make an statement for the Gilded Knight to exist included in the group of teams playing in the Open Division playoffs. Just, in all honesty, a top-4 seed in Div. 1 seems similar a more likely upshot when the pairings are released next week.
The week ahead:vs Castaic (Wed.), at Cleveland (Friday.)
3. Los Altos (eighteen-5, Hacienda, Div. 2A)
Previous: 3
The Conquerors gave Mater Dei all they could handle on Saturday simply came up short. We all talk about Jazz Gardner (and justifiably so), just the one histrion that has elevated his game is C.J. Bellamy. He looked sensational in Los Altos' win over Walnut on Friday dark. If he continues to make these types of contributions, this squad becomes a very unsafe team in the playoffs. STOCK RISING!
The week ahead:vs. South Hills (Wed.) at Wilson (Friday.)
4. S Pasadena (15-7, Rio Hondo League, Div. 3A)

The Tigers jumped back into the Rio Hondo League title race thank you to San Marino's win over La Canada last Friday nighttime. It was time to hitting the reset merely with these 3 teams and look at them with a critical heart. Sage Wayans and Dillion Akers brand this team tough to defend when they are hitting on all cylinders. Plus the Tigers are tough to vanquish at home, which is where they will play on Monday against La Canada. 1 more matter, this squad is in the correct playoff partition at the right time.
The week alee:vs. La Canada (Mon.), at Temple Urban center (Wed.), at San Marino (Fri.)
five. St. Paul (16-9, Camino Real, Div. 2AA)
Previous: vii
Nothing like a nice six-game Camino Real winning streak to get that much-needed momentum heading into the final week of activity. They host Bishop Amat on "Big Monday" and I was impressed with the mode they beat them several weeks agone. One other thing, the Swordsmen are coached past Patrick Roy, ane of the top-notch coaches in the area that you lot may not know. He can motorbus!
The week alee: vs Amat (Mon.), at Salesian (Tues.), vs Cantwell Sacred Centre (Thurs)
6. San Marino (17-two, Rio Hondo, Div. 4AA)
Previous: ix
The Titans did South Pasadena a huge favor and created a 3-way tie for showtime place in the Rio Hondo League standings with their win over La Canada. Michael Azinge looked superb in their win over the Spartans and the Titans got the chore done defensively. Don't wait now, but the Titans are on a three-game winning streak with a vicious dorsum-to-back stretch confronting South Pasadena and La Canada. It'll exist interesting to see how it all plays out.
The calendar week ahead: vs. Monrovia (Mon.), at Blair (Midweek.), vs. Southward Pasadena (Fri), at La Canada (Saturday.)
vii. Glendora (xv-8, Palomares, Div. 2A)
Previous: 8
The Tartans lost absolutely nada in my eyes after watching them play Colony in person last calendar week. They looked very good and almost pulled off the upset of the week. Last of week action should exist null more than a minor speed bump on their road to the playoffs. BTW, I would love to see a Los Altos vs. Glendora game at some point in the playoffs.
The week ahead: at Ayala (Tues), vs. Claremont (Thurs), at Claremont (Fri)
8. La Canada (xv-vi, Rio Hondo League, Div. 3A)
Previous: 4
The Spartans took an ill-timed loss to San Marino on Fri and are now involved in a three-manner scuffle for supremacy in the Rio Hondo League standings. What a week for Spartans fans as they have five games to play, which includes Monday'southward showdown at South Pasadena and concludes with Sat's boxing against San Marino. If there is 1 human being that tin get the Spartans through a calendar week like this, information technology's Tom Hofman.
The week ahead: at Due south Pasadena (Monday), vs Monrovia (Wed), vs Monrovia (Thurs), at Temple Urban center (Fri), vs San Marino (Sat).
9. Walnut (17-7, Hacienda, Div. 3AA)
Previous: five
I'm not going to punish the Mustangs too much because (once more, subsequently watching this team live), this is a very unsafe playoff team. Malik Khouzam is one of the peak guards in the east region of the valley, Ryan Win's game is solid, Ramadan Ibrahim has elevated his game and we can go on and on. One thing that jumps out at me when watching this team, they compete and play very difficult. Something that must exist considered with the playoffs effectually the corner.
The week ahead: at Wilson (Monday.), vs Wilson (Wed.) at Diamond Bar (Fri.)
10. Sonora (13-7, Freeway, Div. 2AA)
Previous: ten
Information technology all comes down to Tuesday's home showdown against Sunny Hills for the Raiders. Win and y'all are sole Throughway League champions. Suffer a loss and they share a league title with the Lancers. See you on Tuesday at Sonora!
The week ahead: vs. Sunny Hills (Tues), vs. Buena Park (Thurs)
